One of the more fun aspects of starting a school was coming up with a team name, school colors and the school seal.
We could not find anything about how we came to be known as the “Highlanders” or how our school colors of forest green and white came to be, but I did find the story of our seal in the 1963 yearbook.
The seal was designed by Robert Fuller, an Assistant professor of art at Randolph-Macon Woman's College, whose daughter went to Seven Hills School. His wife, Martha Fuller, taught art at Seven Hills School in the 1970’s.
Our school motto is “Lux Veritatis” which means “Light of Truth”. | ||
