The first commencement occurred 4 years later on June 7, 1963. The newspaper gave a lot of ink to this momentous occasion. Shown here are Mrs. Cornelius, Annie C. Whiteside, and Mrs. Craddock, addressing invitations to Seven Hills School’s first commencement.
I can only imagine the pride and sense of accomplishment these women felt while doing this seemingly mundane task. A major accomplishment in the life of the school. | ||
