Thankfully, the school wasn't a candidate for the wrecking ball. Seven Hills School had

entered into an agreement with the Virginia School of the Arts a few years earlier which

allowed the Virginia School of the Art students to take academic classes at Seven Hills

School.

Virginia School of the Arts wanted to expand their campus to provide dorms, and believed

1919 and 2001 would fulfill this need perfectly.

On June 15, 1995, the building and contents of the school were purchase by the

Virginia School of the Arts for about $400,000.

From the looks of the facility, they are probably still using those desks and chairs

Chatham Hall donated 45 years ago.
